Travel: Kesi Ghat Vrindavan- its story

Religious importance

This ghat is situated on the bank of river Yamuna at mathura . It was the place where lord Krishna took bath after killing the demon named " kesi ". Kesi was the giant demon in the form of a horse.

Historical importance

This ghat was built in the 17th century after the Mughal ruler Akbar made his historic pilgrimage to Vrindavan. This building constructed of red sandstone.
It includes various huge plateforms where you can easily see the sanyasis (saintly person).
Here you can also experience transcendental vibe during Yamuna arti in evening time.

If you are willing visit mathura - vrindavan. I will recommend this place to visit especially. Here you can experience the blissfull and peaceful environment as Yamuna is . Also we aware with monkeys here. Especially,  keep your phones and spectacles inside while exploring this place.
Unfortunately if they steal  your things, offer them some some food, sweets etc they will gently return your things.

I hope it help you to explore more.
